Getting started

How do I open the grown-ups area?

Tap the gear on the home screen and answer the grown-ups question (a short sum). This keeps purchases, ads and settings away from little fingers.

Santa can't hear my child

Check that Microphone and Speech Recognition are on in Settings → Jollytown. Santa listens while the screen says "Santa is listening" and pauses while he talks, so wait for him to finish before answering. Use the call in a quiet room, with the phone held normally or on speaker, and make sure no other app is using the microphone.

Does it need the internet?

No. Calls with Santa run entirely on your device, even in airplane mode. Only buying time and ads need a connection.

How do I use Santa's secret helper?

During a call, triple-tap the top-left corner of the screen. A small panel lets you choose what Santa says next: praise, bedtime, brushing teeth, veggies, a big laugh or goodbye.

How do Santa's secrets work?

In Grown-ups → Children, open your child's profile and fill in "Today's secrets" (for example breakfast) or "Santa's secrets" (for example a pet's name). Santa mentions up to three per call, as things the elves told him.

Call time and purchases

How much time do I have?

See Grown-ups → Time with Santa. Time is counted by the second, only while a call is connected.

I reinstalled the app and lost my time

Open Get more time and tap Restore Purchases with the same Apple Account. The Season Pass always comes back, also for family members through Family Sharing. Free daily time and time earned from ads cannot be restored.

How much free time is there?

Three minutes of calls with Santa every day, for the whole family. The Season Pass makes calls unlimited until 2027-01-06.

Does the Season Pass renew?

No. It is a one-time purchase that ends on 2027-01-06 and never charges you again.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Safety and privacy

Is Santa a real person?

No. Santa is a pretend character whose answers are chosen on your device. Read more in our Terms.

Are calls recorded?

No. Your child's voice, words, details, photos and call recaps stay on your device. See our Privacy Policy.

Santa said something I didn't like

Open Grown-ups → Privacy → Report a problem. It opens an email to us; tell us roughly what Santa said. We use reports to improve Santa's lines and safety rules.

How do I delete our data?

Use Grown-ups → Delete all data, or delete the app. We have no server holding your family's information, so there is nothing else to delete.
